The Allanwaters are located about 25 miles east of the community of Savant Lake in the northwest of Northern Ontario. Here you will find an extra ordinary trophy walleye and northern pike fishery we call the Allanwaters located in a pristine Canadian Wilderness. We will provide you with clean and comfortable, family run, lake and river wilderness fishing lodge that gives you access to our fishery that is approximately 18 miles long by 4-10 miles wide. Nestled at the confluence of two major river systems, the Allanwater & the Brightsands Rivers, Allanwater Bridge Lodge offers veteran and novice alike lake river current fishing opportunities for trophy Walleye and northern Pike beyond compare. Our lodge is located by two main lakes. Lake Kawaweogama is 5 by 4.5 miles wide and fed by the mighty Allanwater River. Lake McKewan, 4.5 by 2.5 miles wide, is fed by the Brightsands River.


Our record Walleye is 12. 5 lbs. We can safely say that Walleye and Northern Pike fishing at Allanwater in northern Ontario is hard to beat. Two river systems provide more flowing water here than you will find anywhere in this part of Ontario.

Allanwater is surrounded by unknown virgin waters teeming with Northern Pike and Walleye. So adding to the thrill of catching that trophy fish is the fulfillment of the desire many share for primitive areas and real bush country.

Healthy flowing waters and structure, such as we have at Allanwater, supply much of the needed nutrients that provide ideal habitat and excellent spawning ground for Walleye. This goes a long way toward keeping Allanwater a top producer of Walleye and Ontario Northern Pike.

Northern Pike grow to forty lbs. Walleye commonly range from 1½ - 6 pounds with an occasional trophy size of 8 - 12½ pounds! We have recorded over 30 Walleye in the 5+ pound range per season for the last 10 years. Allanwater and the Brights and River systems produce trophy Walleye and Northern consistently!

Generally, 10% of most lakes are productive. We believe that 40% of our waters are productive due to the many islands, reefs and geological formations. Lake Kawaweogama has a dotted esker which runs its entire length. We average about 40 Northern Pike in the 14 - 24 pound range each season! The record Pike during our 22 years is 36 pounds, with a record walleye at 12½ pounds.
