Fishing Northern Ontario
 We can safely say that Northern Pike fishing and Walleye fishing at Allanwater in northern Ontario is hard to beat. Because of the two river systems, there is more flowing water, more food and more Northern Pike spawning grounds here acre of lake than you will find anywhere in the country.
Allanwater is surrounded by unfished virgin waters teeming with Northern Pike. Healthy flowing waters, structure and Northern Pike fishing habitat, such as we have at Allanwater, supply much of the needed nutrients and excellent spawning grounds to create a premium Northern Pike fishing destination. This goes a long way toward keeping Allanwater a top producer of Canada Northern Pike.
Northern Pike in Canada grow to forty and forty five pounds. Allanwater and the Brights and River systems produce trophy Walleye and Northern consistently!
Generally, 10% of most lakes are productive. We believe that 40% of our Northern Pike fishing waters are productive due to the many islands, reefs and geological formations. Lake Kawaweogama has a dotted submerged esker which runs its entire length that contributes greatly to productive Northern Pike fishing areas on what otherwise might have been deep water.
We average about 40 Northern Pike in the 15 - 25 pound range each season! The record Pike during our 22 years is nearly 40 pounds.
